Your coffee has a story. Its pack needs the details.

Separate the needs of beans, ground coffee, and drip bags before discussing packaging types and features.

01

Describe the coffee and how it is sold

State whether the product is roasted beans, ground coffee, or a single-brew portion. Add the target fill, variants, filling method, and distribution plan. Include relevant process information so material and feature discussions begin with the actual product.

02

Discuss the valve in relation to the process

Gas-release needs belong in the coffee-pack discussion. A one-way valve serves a different purpose from a zipper: gas release versus reclosure. Neither replaces the review of material structure and seals.

03

Distinguish the drip filter from its outer pack

The catalogue’s coffee drip bag shows a filter with paper supports. Outer-pack needs, portion count, brewing information, and the retail arrangement belong in separate parts of the brief. Specify which components you intend to order.

ComponentStarting question
Drip filterHow will it hang and be used?
Outer packWhat structure, seal, and printed information are needed?
Retail arrangementOne portion or multiple portions per unit?
04

Bring usage references as well as visual ones

Bring shelf-position references, the opening experience you want, and variant-information examples. Include process notes and performance targets. Shelf-life or durability claims require a basis in product and packaging validation.
